Contracts are renewed on an annual basis.  Annual renewal is contingent upon the following: providers annual re-certifications are up-to-date, all monthly documentation was handed in a timely manner from prior contract year, and that both parties – individual and provider want to extend another year.

RACSB is a well established company that has been serving person’s with disabilities since 1970 in Planning District 16. We have an outstanding reputation for quality of care, reliability, and value.  We pride ourselves with the fact that we are a non-profit organization which allows us to serve more people in our community.

The Sponsored Placement Program has contact numbers in case of an emergency when our office is closed.  RACSB also has an emergency services staff that can be reached 24-hours a day, seven days a week and during holidays. These numbers will be provided to you once you have an individual matched with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

The pay to our providers is based on the individual that resides in your home and his/her authorized service hours. The current individuals in our program have between 350 to 400 authorized service hours per month. We calculate at a hourly rate of $6.50 per authorized service hour. Payment is made to the provider on the 15th of the month.

How often are contracts renewed?

Yes, providers can use their Alternate Caregiver for this respite care, an approved and certified sitter, or RACSB residential group homes when available and planned in advance.
